The Easter Camp is over now and we bring a chance to take a look back at what happened here in JIGS. In case you missed the first article, you can find it here.
The time went so fast during the camp, but we managed to do a lot of activities.
From the go perspective, daily activities included: Lectures 👨🏫, League games 🏆 and their reviews 🔍and tsumego 🧠. Then we also had simultaneous games 🤼, Renn-go 🏃♂️🏃♀️ and Blind-go 👨🦯.
From the leisure activities, there were: Cooking 🧑🍳, Easter egg drawing 🎨 and then easter egg hunting🕵️♀️, bouldering 🧗, table tennis 🏓, board games 🎲, movie night 📽️ and some well-deserved rest 😴 for the kids.
In addition to the full-time participants of the camp, we also welcomed visiting guests (like Mariette and Marta), who always joined us for a couple of sessions. It was a win-win for everyone because the participants could also play against someone else ^^.
We organized a few small tournaments for the kids (like a blitz tournament), who could then choose their prizes. All participants also completed their exams to show what they had learned during the camp. All students successfully passed and received their diplomas + they could also choose a gift.
We would like to thank all the participants for their great effort, dedication, positive attitude and nice behavior throughout the whole camp. It was a pleasure spending time with you all. Looking forward to the next time! 👋
