Over the weekend of November 9th and 10th, 2024, the German Women’s Go Championship took place in Frankfurt. The tournament was held at the Saalbau Titus-Forum, which also hosts the weekly meetings of the Frankfurt Go Club.
A total of 11 participants competed in this year’s championship. The games were streamed on OGS (Online Go Server), allowing Go enthusiasts to follow the action live.

We are especially proud to celebrate our founder and teacher at JIGS, Manja Marz, who claimed victory with an impressive 5-0 record, successfully defending her title. Some of the games were indeed thrilling rollercoasters. Congratulations to Manja on this achievement!
