You can come any time to JIGS and train with the local teachers. That is possible at any time point during the year. According to your needs we will offer a programme to fullfill your aims.
You can come any time to JIGS and train with the local teachers. That is possible at any time point during the year. According to your needs we will offer a programme to fullfill your aims. If you do not know what exactly needs to get better, you may get a training plan from us.
Training will be done up to 10h per day, 4h with a personal professional trainer.
Price depends on the duration of your stay:
1 day – 100 €
5 days – 450 €
7 days – 700 €
14 days – 1 000 €

If your friends and you want to study together in JIGS — you may take together lessons. The programme is similar to the individual trainings, however, usually with a lot more interactions between the participants.
The prices depends on the duration of your stay and the number of participants (between 30 and 60 euro per person per day)
Our weekly Go Training is made in three classes: Double Digit Kyu Players, Signle Digit Kyu Players and Dan Players.
The 60min are filled with a lot of theory: new Josekis, Openings, Technical Knowledge and Endgame. Weekly Tsumegos are corrected.
Currently the training is Wednesdays, from 5.30-6.30pm, Jentower 8th floor.
Costs: 12 Euro per month per person.
For students of the Friedrich-Schiller-University or for guest students
Lessons: In 2 SWS during the Wintersemester (WS) we teach Go from scratch. Rules, Atari, Ladder etc. After the Semester the average strength of the students is 10-15 kyu. We learn theoretical concepts, have weekly Tsuemego homework, play and review our games.
Participation is free of charge.
