Hello everyone, we are bringing another article after a short pause. This weekend German Female Championship 2023 (yes, 2023 indeed ^^) took place in Hamburg just before the European Youth Championship , which started today.
We are happy to announce that our teacher Manja 4d became the champion, congratulations! 👏

The final game between Manja and Maike was very exciting as it was super close (1 point) and ladies were fighting for the endgame with 0 dead groups, pretty untypical for female go. 😊 The games were broadcasted with electronic Chinese boards on OGS and the Chinese server IZIS and can be found under this OGS account.
It would be nice to see more strong females on the screen for a bright future of the female go in Germany/Europe. 💪
